Spicy Orecchiette with Salami & Tomatoes
Quick & easy pasta recipe from Southern Italy: orecchiette with spicy salami, tomatoes & tomato sauce. Simple but delicious!

- 200 g pasta e.g. Orecchiette, Penne...
- olive oil
- 50 g spicy Italian salami
- 50 g tomatoes
- 200 ml tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- salt
- fresh chili/chili powder optional
1. Bring the pasta water to the boil. Add salt and cook the pasta (always use the cooking time on the package -1 minute).
2. Meanwhile, chop the salami and the tomatoes. Heat some olive oil in a pan and fry the salami until slightly crispy. Add the tomatoes, the tomato sauce and season with salt and pepper (and chili if you like, depends on how spicy your salami is). Let the sauce simmer while the pasta is cooking.
3. Add the pasta to the sauce. Serve with some freshly grated black pepper and parmesan on top. Enjoy!
