Lemon-Parmesan-Chicken with Herbs

Oven-baked lemon-parmesan-chicken with fresh herbs is the perfect Spring dish. Try it - it's quick and easy!

Zutaten
  

  • 800 g chicken breast
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 handful herbs of your choice e.g. rosemary, basil, thyme, oregano, parsley...
  • 50 g butter
  • 1/2 organic lemon juice and zest
  • 200 g breadcrumbs
  • 50 g parmesan cheese
  • sunflower oil

Zubereitung
 

  • Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper. Finely chop the herbs. Melt butter in a pan and add lemon zest and juice to it.
  • Put herbs, grated parmesan and breadcrumbs into a bowl. Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Put the chicken in the melted butter first, then coat with the breadcrumbs.
  • Add it to a baking dish and put the rest of the melted butter or some oil on top. Bake approx. 15-20 minutes, depending on the size of the chicken breast, until done and golden on top.

Tipps

If you want to add even more flavor to this dish, put some finely chopped preserved lemons on top before serving - yum!
