Cinnamon Rolls

For the dough:
- 300 ml milk
- 1 tbsp yeast
- 50 g sugar
- 50 g butter
- 500 g flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the filling:
- 50 g butter
- 40 g sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
Combine lukewarm milk, yeast and sugar. Melt the butter. Add flour to the dough and combine for approx. 1 minute. Add butter, salt, eggs and vanilla extract to the dough and knead until smooth. Let it rest for approx. 2 hours at room temperature.
Roll out the dough to a rectangle. Melt the butter and brush it on the dough. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Cut the dough vertically into approx. 8 pieces and roll them up to form cinnamon rolls. Put them on parchment paper in a baking tin and let the cinnamon rolls rest for another hour.
After 45 minutes, preheat the oven to 180 °C. Put the cinnamon rolls in the oven after an hour and bake them for 20-25 minutes.
