Cinnamon Rolls

Zutaten
  

For the dough:

  • 300 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp yeast
  • 50 g sugar
  • 50 g butter
  • 500 g flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the filling:

  • 50 g butter
  • 40 g sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Zubereitung
 

  • Combine lukewarm milk, yeast and sugar. Melt the butter. Add flour to the dough and combine for approx. 1 minute. Add butter, salt, eggs and vanilla extract to the dough and knead until smooth. Let it rest for approx. 2 hours at room temperature.
  • Roll out the dough to a rectangle. Melt the butter and brush it on the dough. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Cut the dough vertically into approx. 8 pieces and roll them up to form cinnamon rolls. Put them on parchment paper in a baking tin and let the cinnamon rolls rest for another hour.
  • After 45 minutes, preheat the oven to 180 °C. Put the cinnamon rolls in the oven after an hour and bake them for 20-25 minutes.
