Plum Cake

  • Chopping Board
  • Rolling Pin
  • Baking paper
  • Baking tray
  • Sieve

Zutaten
  

  • 250 g butter
  • 400 g flour
  • 120 g sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch salt
  • approx. 2 kg plums
  • icing sugar for serving

Zubereitung
 

  • Mix all of the ingredients except plums and icing sugar. Put the dough in the fridge while you prepare the plums. Stone the plums and cut them into quarters.
  • Roll out the dough until it is as big as the baking tray. Put it on baking paper and arrange the plums on top. Preheat the oven to 220 °C.
  • Bake the cake for 10 minutes, reduce the heat to 200 °C and continue baking for 30 minutes. Serve with icing sugar.

Tipps

Add a pinch of cinnamon to the dough to make it even more fall-vibed!
