Christmas Sugar Cookies

Classic cut-out sugar cookies for Christmas – everybody loves these & they are super easy to make.

Utensilien

  • Bowl
  • Rolling Pin
  • Cookie cutters
  • Baking tray
  • Baking paper

Zutaten
  

  • 250 g flour
  • 200 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 splash rum optional
  • 1 pinch salt

Zubereitung
 

  • Combine all of the ingredients to a smooth dough. Let it rest in the fridge for approx. 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 150 °C. Roll out the dough (0,5 cm) and cut out the cookies. Put them on baking paper and bake for approx. 10 minutes until they start to bubble and are golden, but not brown.

Tipps

You can decorate the cookies with royal icing, food coloring and more!
