Spaghetti all'Amatriciana from Rome
A real Italian classic: Spaghetti all'Amatriciana with onion, guanciale, tomato sauce and pecorino. It's easy and ready in 15 minutes only!

- 200 g Spaghetti/Bucatini/Linguine
- 1/2 onion
- 1 handful guanciale or bacon
- 1 glass tomato sauce approx. 200 ml
- salt
- pepper
- 1 handful pecorino or parmesan cheese
Cook the pasta until al dente in salted water. In the meantime, prepare the sauce. Dice onion and guanciale or bacon and fry in a pan (no oil needed). Add tomato sauce and let it simmer.
Season the sauce with salt and pepper. Add the cooked pasta and the freshly grated cheese and serve.
