Spaghetti all'Amatriciana from Rome

A real Italian classic: Spaghetti all'Amatriciana with onion, guanciale, tomato sauce and pecorino. It's easy and ready in 15 minutes only!

Zutaten
  

  • 200 g Spaghetti/Bucatini/Linguine
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 handful guanciale or bacon
  • 1 glass tomato sauce approx. 200 ml
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 handful pecorino or parmesan cheese

Zubereitung
 

  • Cook the pasta until al dente in salted water. In the meantime, prepare the sauce. Dice onion and guanciale or bacon and fry in a pan (no oil needed). Add tomato sauce and let it simmer.
  • Season the sauce with salt and pepper. Add the cooked pasta and the freshly grated cheese and serve.
