Savory Pumpkin Pizza with Bacon

Easy pumpkin pizza with bacon! This pumpkin recipe is quick and easy, perfect for a meal prep or everyday cooking. Just omit the bacon if you want to make the recipe vegetarian!

  • Bakin paper
  • Baking tray
  • Rolling Pin

Zutaten
  

For the dough:

  • 100 g spelt flour
  • 100 g wholemeal spelt flour
  • 120 ml water
  • 15 g olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt

For the topping:

  • 1/2 pumpkin butternut or hokkaido
  • salt
  • pepper
  • olive oil
  • 200 g creme fraiche
  • 50 g bacon

Zubereitung
 

  • Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Combine the ingredients to a smooth dough and let it rest at room temperature while you prep the rest of the ingredients.
  • Peel the pumpkin and cut it into thin slices. Put them on baking paper, season with salt, pepper and olive oil and bake for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, cut the bacon into small cubes.
  • Divide the dough in half, roll it out very thin and put it on two baking trays. Top the two "Flammkuchen" (quiches) with creme fraiche, pumpkin and bacon and bake for about 15 minutes until crunchy.
