Pasta Caprese – Paccheri with Tomatoes, Mozzarella & Basil

Easy everday recipe, anyone? This pasta caprese is delicious, super simple and ready in under 30 minutes. Make this vegetarian recipe vegan by using vegan cheese or making it without mozzarella. Italy's best!

Utensilien

  • Pot
  • Knife
  • Chopping Board
  • Pan
  • Sieve
  • Grater

Zutaten
  

  • 200 g pasta paccheri, spaghetti, penne...
  • olive oil
  • 200 g cherry tomatoes
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 200 g mozzarella
  • fresh basil
  • parmesan cheese

Zubereitung
 

  • Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente (read package instructions).
  • Cut the cherry tomatoes in half. Add some olive oil to a pan, fry the tomatoes for a few minutes and season with salt and pepper. You can add a splash of the pasta water to make the sauce more creamy when serving.
  • Cut the mozzarella into cubes or use mozzarella pearls. Wash the basil and roughly cut it as well.
  • Drain the pasta, put it into the pan to combine it with the tomatoes. Add some more olive oil and serve the pasta caprese with fresh basil, mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese.

Tipps
